Carolyn Wass is a local artist living with her husband, daughter, and band of misfit animals in Mt. Olive, AL. She holds a BFA from the University of Montevallo and has participated in many juried art shows as well as a national museum show at the O'Keefe museum in Biloxi. She divides her time between motherhood, artwork, and teaching children's art classes. Her work is inspired by prehistoric imagery as well as modern movie special effects. Her recent colorful clay work combines her love of sculpting and painting.
